If you’ve got only a domain name with Web Hosting Online Services, and yet you also want to transfer your web site(s) to our hosting platform, you can merely move to one of our cloud hosting packages. Just visit the Upgrade Plan section of the Domain Control Panel and select the package that you want to move to. We will then activate all the available hosting options for you and you will be able to take advantage of all the site setup and administration tools that are within the Control Panel.

With the Registrar Lock functionality turned on, you can be sure that your domain name is safeguarded against cybertheft. Anyone who triggers an unapproved domain name transfer will be momentarily blocked and the domain name transfer request – denied.

If, at some point, you decide to transfer your domain to a different domain registrar, you will be able to unlock it with a simple click. You’ll find the domain locking/unlocking feature in the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel.

Using the GeoIP location tool incorporated into the Domain Manager, you can point a specific language version of your website to a specific target audience. It offers an intuitive point–and–click interface where you do not have to write any code. You simply have to enter the location of your prospective web site visitors and the URL that you’d like to load for those visitors.

For instance, if you’ve got a German version of your web site at de.your–site.com, you have to type it in the URL field and choose Germany as a destination market. Thus, every time a visitor coming from Germany opens your site, they will see de.your–site.com rather than your–site.com.

With the Wildcard DNS functionality, you will be able to make all your sub–domains forward to the main page of your website. For instance, when someone enters any.domain.com or smth.domain.com, they’ll visit http://domain.com/.

You may need the Wildcard DNS option for a multi–site app like Joomla^™ Multi–Site or WordPress.

To add a wildcard domain, go to the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel and press the Add Host button located on the right. At the bottom of the options list, you’ll notice the Wildcard Domain tick box.

If you own an e–commerce portal that has an order form or a community–focused website that has a member’s login section, then you will need to order an SSL certificate to secure these areas and also to reassure your customers that their details are protected. To accomplish this, you just have to buy an SSL certificate for a certain host from the Domain Manager section of your Control Panel.

Simply click on the Order SSL Certificate button, select the sort of certificate that you want – normal or wildcard, and enter the required information. Then hit the Order button and we will send you your certificate’s details.

With the WHOIS protection service, you will be able to hide your private info that shows up on the Internet upon a WHOIS lookup on your domain name. By doing this, if somebody tries a WHOIS lookup on your domain, they will see fictional info instead of your personal information. With this functionality enabled, you’ll never have to be worried that someone may use your home address or telephone number to disturb you.

The WHOIS protection functionality is available with most of the TLDs offered on our site and you can find it in the Domain Manager built into your Control Panel.

With our domain forwarding tool, you’ll be able to point a domain or a sub–domain in your account to any site that you want. Our tool has a simple–to–use interface, which will help you forward the (sub)domains of your preference with just a few clicks. In this way, you will not have to deal with elaborate .htaccess file modifications.

To forward a domain, just determine a desired destination path and our clever system will perform the rest instead of you and will immediately forward the domain name to the preferred location.

The Domain Manager has an integrated Custom DNS section from where you can easily manage all sorts of DNS resource records for your domain name. With merely one single mouse click, you can add A, AAAA, MX, NS, CNAME, SRV and TXT resource records and edit them anytime you like! Just fill in the new value for the DNS record that you’d like to add and push the Add button!

Through our Domain Manager, you can even set name servers for your domain and revert a DNS entry to its former state with just one single click of the mouse!
