Parked Domains
What are parked domain names? When are able to they come in real useful? How could you park a domain?
A parked Internet domain is one which is taken, but it's not connected to any other service - web or email hosting. Put simply, this kind of domain address won't open any actual content when you type it in a browser, but nobody can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The advantage of acquiring a domain and parking it afterwards is the fact that you can keep it and not worry that someone else could possibly register it in the meantime if, for instance, the website for it is not ready yet. You may set a short-term Under Construction website page for a parked domain while you are working on your website, or forward it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be used when you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you get domain.net and domain.org, so that you can protect a brand name or a trademark. In such a case, the .net and .org domain addresses can be parked and forwarded to the .com because you don't need separate sites for them.

Parked Domains in Hosting
If you get a
hosting plan from our company, you will be able to register as many domain addresses as you want and park any of them with only a few mouse clicks through your Hepsia hosting CP. Using our feature-rich Domain Manager tool, you can choose from a number of templates and add your own text to any one of them. If you want to forward a domain address, all it requires is to type the URL, save it, and you will be all set. You can un-park a domain name and host it in your account just as easily and our system will do all the required changes - update the domain address servers, create DNS records for it, create a domain folder in the File Manager part of your account, etcetera. If you have numerous domain addresses registered through our company, you’ll be able to use a filter and check out just the parked or just the hosted ones for simpler administration. Having in mind that you can park a domain only with the registrar company, you can employ this function only for domains which are registered through us, but not through another company.
